Cue Station
Born from a lifelong passion for snooker, The Cue Station is more than just a place to play. We’re a welcoming community hub for snooker, pool and darts, created to bring players together, inspire new talent, support wellbeing and give everyone the chance to enjoy the sports they love.
As a 12 year old boy, in 1976 I fell in love with the game of Snooker.
Every day was taken up with the game as much as possible. And when I wasn’t playing, I was watching all the greats on the TV.
The dream was to turn professional ( That was never going to happen ) given my highest break at 18 was 52!
The dream then was to beat my highest break. That took another 42 years , when I got 53! ( You can see why I didn’t turn pro…I should have taken up the Piano )
However, it was always my dream to own my own Snooker table.
In 2025, Exmouths Old Fire station came on the market and my creativity took over as the site seemed ideal for a Snooker and Pool Hall.
I wanted to create an environment that I would want to play in, create something special for the local community, offer something that would allow fans of the Cue and now darts a venue to excel on a sport that they love. And to boost everyone’s mental health within a safe club.
The idea is to attract new exciting players and also to attract great players that used to play , then sadly with clubs closing down, they had to hang up their cues. Well now I am asking everyone who used to play, that wants to play to apply on line and come and join us at The Cue Station.
